City of Columbia

A decade in step with a city on the rise

The City of Columbia represents Good Street’s longest and most comprehensive municipal relationship — and the clearest example of what happens when a brand is built to last. Ten years ago, Columbia was a quaint town south of Nashville. Today it's a destination in its own right and Good Sign Design Co. has been the creative constant through every step of that growth.

Branding

Columbia's creative needs have grown and evolved. What started as a single branding project for their new destination brand expanded into a full visual identity system that now serves multiple departments, anchors their tourism presence, and shows up consistently across every channel the city touches."

Columbia's annual visitor guide is often the first thing a visitor sees, and we make sure it’s a souvenir of its own. Issue after issue, we've obsessively researched, written, and woven personal stories from locals into each guide, filling it with the kind of storytelling that makes a city feel alive, told through the eyes of the people who live and love it.

Throughout each year different departments of the city have leaned on us to craft design projects that meet their needs. We’ve had the pleasure to develop ads, banners, event designs, postcards and much more.
